Production Process Of Neodymium Iron Boron

2024-09-30

Due to the characteristics of the metal, neodymium iron boron is particularly prone to oxidation, so there are high requirements for preservation during the production process from raw materials to blank electroplating and spraying, and the residual materials during the production process are difficult to reuse. Generally, neodymium iron boron enterprises have hydrogen production stations and nitrogen production stations. Hydrogen is used for the crushing of castings, while nitrogen is used to protect materials from oxidation.

At present, there are three main types of production processes:

Sintered neodymium iron boron: excellent magnetic properties, the most widely used, and the highest yield. Due to its excellent magnetism and high working temperature, it is mainly used in fields such as automotive motors, wind power, audio equipment, and computers.

Bonded neodymium iron boron: With a simple process and low cost, isotropic properties, it is widely used in consumer electronics, computers, printers, and home appliances.

Hot pressed neodymium iron boron: Currently, the production is still small, far lower than sintered neodymium iron boron and bonded neodymium iron boron
